Kontoyiannis House Cyprus Holiday Accommodation

Welcome to Kontoyiannis House Cyprus. KHC for short is a traditional stone built Cyprus village house in Kalavasos near the southern coastline of Cyprus situated approx halfway between Limassol and Larnaca. The house has been been converted into four one or two bed apartments surrounding a central courtyard filled with sunny secluded nooks and filled with lush green foliage - a perfect place to dine in the evenings or a secluded spot to have a quiet snooze or curl up with a good book.

The house has been in my family for generations and is now a wonderful example of a traditonal village house.

I am pasionate about all things Cyprus and have spent years collecting information on all aspects of life in Cyprus. If you are planning a holiday in Cyprus this is the place to find out all the information you need.

Cyprus Orchids

This spring we were busy taking lots of photos of the Wild flowers around the village of Kalavasos and the suburbs of the town of Limassol. Next year plan to be adding lots more. There are some lovely wild gladioli and poppies growing all over the island.

The Cyprus Cyclamen is indigenous to Cyprus and grows abundantly in the Limassol area. The Cyclamen has recently been declared the National Flower of Cyprus

Flights into Cyprus

There are lots of flights into Cyprus nowadays and it is getting easier to
find cheaper deals. My advice if booking through Cyprus Airways, British
Airways or Lufthansa is to try and book as early as possible as the prices go up
if you are planning to visit during August which is the busiest and most
expensive month to fly in.

It’s always a good idea to book early for flights as it often gives you a better
price with regards to Cyprus airways anyway, I know as I use them a lot.
